Long ago, there was a loner named Diamond. She lived far from the area DiamondClan roams today. Back then, the territories were dominated by rogues and loners. They mostly kept to themselves, apart from one; a rogue she-called called Evergreen, also known as The One Without A Heart. Not much is known about Evergreen, except that she was sly, cruel, and incapable of love. Unable to contain her bloodlust, Evergreen pitted every cat against each other. No one realized what was truly happening until it happened. The fight. A bloody, brutal war between every cat in the forest. Many cats died, including Evergreen herself, and every survivor was wounded gravely. Losing hope, the rogue cats started to die out. One day, Diamond showed up, having fled a Clan of her own. She helped the cats survive the cruel leafbare, and gradually assumed the position of leader. In greenleaf, a newly formed StarClan rewarded Diamond for her selflessness, granting her nine lives, and the title Diamondstar. Unknowingly, the cats had created a Clan.
